Arizona

Female Rough Coat Blue Merle Border Collie

Arizona is an absolute ham and the life of the party. She loves to perform a large variety of tricks! She never misses anything happening on the farm. She makes us giggle and smile on the regular. She loves attention- when she was a pup I took her to stores a lot. To this day she is pretty sure her name is, "Look at that CUTE dog!!" She loves greeting new people and getting all the pets and affection.

While Arizona is super fun in neutral settings and with friends and family members, she is protective of the place. I have snuck up the driveway and been on the other side of things once or twice. She makes no bones about the fact that its her house!

I never "started" Arizona on stock, but she certainly shows strong drive. She was stepped on by the horses when she was young and it unfortunately caused her a long-term injury. However, she joins in daily helping push the goats. She has a tons of eye. A few of her pups are now old enough to be on stock and are doing great. Very intuitive.

Arizona comes from our family line. Her mother, Jade came from our great Uncle's breeding program. He is an old cowboy hermit and is still riding pens daily in his 80s. Jade is the reason we started breeding, she has a versatile disposition and is an excellent working and family dog. Arizona is an excellent family dog and shows good interest and ability to work (despite her injury).

These dogs live to serve you and will adapt to whatever that is if you make it clear to them. They love to play through adulthood, but have an excellent off switch.
